Hello!

My name is Wonu. I am a woman of Nigerian heritage who grew up in the United Kingdom and currently resides in the Netherlands. I founded WoW Fundraising Consultancy to raise awareness and encourage support for initiatives that wish to create positive and transformational social change with values rooted in anti-racism and anti-oppression.

I have over fifteen years of experience in fundraising. My interest in fundraising and the nonprofit sector started with volunteering in my youth. Since then, I have built considerable experience working with several global development and social impact organisations.

 

I have worked with numerous trusts, foundations, and bilateral and multilateral donors in Europe, the United States, Africa and Asia. Throughout my career, I have learnt considerably about what motivates donors and fundraising best practices.

 

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Ancient History and History from the University of Nottingham and a Master's degree in Africa and International Development from the University of Edinburgh.
